Position: Business Development Representative

Gender: Male candidates only

Educational Qualification - Any Degree
Location: Chennai (Nungampakkam)
Industry: Lead Manufacturing / Battery Recycling

Job Summary

We are looking for a candidate with 1 to 4 years of experience for the position of Business Development Representative ,candidate should have two wheeler and willing to travel.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company to identify, engage, and develop new business leads.
  • Follow up with potential and pending prospects to convert opportunities into business.
  • Communicate with new leads directly through phone calls, emails, and online platforms.
  • Conduct market research and background verification of new contacts and business partners.
  • Visit IT and Automotive sectors to connect with key personnel responsible for selling used battery materials.
  • Undertake outstation visits across South Indian states to meet prospective representatives, agents, and clients.
  • Provide end-to-end support to department staff and coordinate with government authorities whenever required.
  • Draft official letters, emails, and responses to external queries, ensuring timely updates to the reporting manager.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Assist department staff with auction-related queries, tenders, and meetings, ensuring timely submission of required documents.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate in Commerce, Arts, or Computer Applications.
  • 2–3 years of prior experience in customer service or business development, preferably in the manufacturing sector (non-ferrous industry experience preferred).
  • Proactive, passionate, and flexible with strong time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel (for reporting) and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Tamil, with good drafting ability for business correspondence.
  • Willing to travel extensively within South India and must possess a valid two-wheeler license.
