Business Development Officer

Job Summary: The Export Business Development Assistant will support the export team in identifying new international business opportunities, managing customer communication, preparing export documentation, and assisting in the overall coordination of export operations. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of international trade practices. Key Responsibilities: Business Development Support Assist in identifying new export markets and potential international customers. Conduct market research on global trends, and customer requirements. Support in preparing sales proposals, quotations, and product presentations. Maintain and update the lead database and track follow-ups. Customer Coordination Communicate with international customers via email and phone regarding product details, pricing, and shipment updates. Handle customer queries and ensure timely responses. Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas clients. Export Documentation & Logistics Assist in preparing export documentation such as Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, BL details, etc. Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, and logistics teams for booking shipments. Track shipments and update customers on dispatch and delivery timelines. Ensure compliance with export regulations, documentation accuracy, and statutory requirements. Administrative & Reporting Assist in preparing weekly and monthly sales reports. Maintain important files, data, and customer communication records. Support in preparing presentations for management review.
