Business Development Manager (BDM)

Lead Generation & Prospecting

• Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and cold outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn).
  
• Qualify leads based on target customer profile and business needs.
  
• Maintain and update lead databases using CRM tools.
  

Client Engagement & Relationship Building

• Initiate meetings or presentations with prospects to understand their business requirements.
  
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  
• Maintain regular follow-ups and ensure high client satisfaction.
  

Sales & Revenue Growth

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
  
• Pitch products/services effectively to close deals.
  
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and finalize sales agreements.
  

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

• Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior.
  
• Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and partnership models.
  
• Develop business proposals and market-entry strategies.
  

Collaboration & Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate with internal teams such as marketing, product, and operations for seamless execution.
  
• Provide feedback from the market to the product team for improvement and innovation.
  
• Work closely with customer service teams for post-sale support and upselling.
  

Reporting & Forecasting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
  
• Track sales KPIs, lead conversion ratios, and revenue forecasts.
  
• Present findings and performance updates to senior management.
  

Brand Promotion & Representation

• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking meets.
  
• Promote brand awareness and positioning in the market.
  
• Act as the face of the organization during client interactions.
