Role Overview

Business Development Manager (BDM)


Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Identify and target potential clients including couples, wedding planners, venues, and agencies.
  • Build a strong pipeline of high-value leads through networking, referrals, social media, and industry events.

Sales & Client Conversion:

  • Conduct discovery meetings with clients to understand their wedding photography needs.
  • Present RVR PRO’s portfolio, service offerings, and packages in a compelling and customized manner.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and meet/exceed monthly sales targets.

Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with wedding planners, venues, event managers, and luxury brands to drive business referrals.
  • Maintain regular contact with past clients for testimonials, reviews, and future referrals.

Market & Trend Awareness:

  • Stay updated with trends in wedding photography and destination weddings.
  • Research competitors and provide feedback to improve offerings and pricing strategy.

CRM & Reporting:

  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and update CRM with leads, follow-ups, and conversions.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to senior management with key metrics and insights.

Event Presence:

  • Attend key wedding events, expos, and client meetings.
  • Be present (as needed) during shoot days or client walkthroughs to ensure seamless handoff to production teams.


  • Experience:

  • 3–6 years in sales, business development, or client servicing in wedding photography, luxury events, or hospitality.
  • Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sales closing and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and basic knowledge of digital sales platforms
  • Network:

  • Strong industry connections with wedding planners, venues, and HNI clients is a plus.
  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Personal Traits:

  • Self-motivated, organized, target-driven, and passionate about weddings and visual storytelling.
  • Availability:

  • Willing to travel for destination weddings and work weekends as per client/event needs.
