Commercial Tool Room – Greater Noida (UP)

Role Objective

To drive business growth by managing RFQs, customer negotiations, and new project development while ensuring profitability and strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Identify new business opportunities in automotive & non-automotive segments

✔ Handle complete RFQ lifecycle — costing, quotation, submissions & follow-ups

✔ Evaluate BOQ, material & tooling requirements for proposals

✔ Coordination with Tool Room, NPD, SCM, Quality & Plant teams

✔ Prepare price offers, commercial terms and negotiate with customers

✔ Track project execution from PO receipt to SOP

✔ Provide sales forecasts, RFQ status updates and monthly business reports

✔ Conduct market intelligence — competition, pricing, trends

✔ Ensure customer issues are addressed till closure

✔ Represent organization in reviews, audits, exhibitions & customer visits

Required Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of

    Plastic Injection Molding

    processes
  • Tooling costing

    and feasibility knowledge (single/multi-cavity molds)
  • Understanding of

    cycle time

    , BOM, part cost breakdown
  • Awareness of

    APQP, PPAP, Engineering Changes

  • Techno-commercial competence and cost analysis skills

Behavioral Competencies

  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Negotiation and customer relationship management
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Capability to handle multi-plant coordination
  • Result-oriented and proactive team player

Preferred Background

  • Experience with

    OEM / Tier-1 automotive customers

  • Exposure to ERP/SAP systems
  • Experience in BD for

    plastics, tooling & assemblies
