The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment, ensuring that all maintenance activities are performed efficiently and safely. Day-to-day tasks include conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Position Details 📍 Location: 180/8, Plot No. 180/2A, 180/2B, 180/26, Taluk Mambakkam, Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu – 602106 🏭 Industry: Automotive / Ancillary / Manufacturing 🕐 Experience Required: Minimum 12+ years in Plastic Injection Molding / Automotive Ancillary Manufacturing 💡 Notice Period Preference: 15–30 days (Buyout option available) 🚗 Requirement: Candidate must own a vehicle 🕘 Job Timings: Flexible schedule; must be willing to work beyond 8 hours if required 📆 Working Days: 6 days per week Key Responsibilities Minimize machine downtime through effective maintenance strategies Implement and monitor Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Plans with a target of zero breakdown hours Drive energy cost optimization and continuous improvement projects to reduce production loss Ensure compliance with ISO/TS16949 & EMS14001 audits and internal quality standards Lead, mentor, and develop a high-potential maintenance team for succession planning Manage critical spares, breakdown trends, and utility failures to ensure operational continuity Implement modern maintenance tools, Poka-Yoke systems, and predictive maintenance techniques Conduct regular training and skill development programs to foster a safety-first culture Monitor maintenance KPIs, break-down trends, utility failures, and energy consumption , and drive corrective actions Coordinate closely with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth operations Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team-building capabilities Expertise in Preventive & Predictive Maintenance methodologies Knowledge of ISO & IATF 16949 standards , safety protocols, and audit requirements Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills Ability to plan and manage manpower, resources, and critical spares efficiently Strong communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams
