Job Description

Business Development Executive/Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Market Research:

    Identify and explore new business opportunities in the

    USA and Canada

    for engineering services. Develop and maintain a strong

    client database

    through research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Client Engagement:

    Interact with prospective clients to understand requirements and align organizational service offerings. Build and maintain long-term client relationships through effective communication and consistent follow-ups.
  • Sales & Business Growth:

    Promote and offer company services across assigned territories. Identify, nurture, and convert leads into active business opportunities. Perform

    cross-selling

    and seek

    referrals

    to maximize business potential.
  • Marketing & Communication:

    Drive

    email campaigns, presentations, and brochures

    to showcase company capabilities. Participate in online and offline marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility.
  • Proposal & Reporting:

    Prepare and submit

    proposals, quotations, and presentations

    as per client enquiries. Generate and present

    monthly business reports

    to management summarizing activities and progress.
  • Client Coordination:

    Arrange and coordinate meetings between clients and internal stakeholders (HODs, technical leads, etc.). Ensure timely response to enquiries and client communications.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:

    38 years of experience in

    Business Development / Sales

    in Engineering or related technical services industry.
  • Education:

    Graduate / Postgraduate in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Market Exposure:

    Strong understanding of

    North American (USA & Canada)

    markets preferred.
  • Skills:

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Strong networking and negotiation abilities
    • Proven record in client acquisition and business growth
    • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and email marketing platforms
