Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager, located in Mumbai. He will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing marketing strategies, and building customer relationships. The day-to-day tasks include market research, preparing sales forecasts, and analyzing business potential. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and providing regular updates to senior management. Understanding customer needs and providing solutions tailored to their specific requirements is also critical.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and experience with market research and business potential analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships
• Experienced in developing marketing strategies and sales forecasts
• Ability to prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in CRM software and other sales-related tools
• Experience in the industrial manufacturing sector, particularly in valves, is highly beneficial
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
