Business Development Manager

We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead both B2C (direct student sales) and B2B (institutional partnerships) verticals. You will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives and strong sales execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Team Leaders overseeing both B2B and B2C sales functions.
  • Set sales targets and ensure performance delivery through regular reviews and support.
  • Train, and develop sales talent in coordination with HR and department heads.
  • Motivate and guide the teams to maintain high energy, productivity, and performance.
  • Design and implement sales strategies for both B2B and B2C verticals.
  • Analyse sales data, generate reports, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor and optimize lead management, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment of campaigns with sales objectives.
  • Support Team Leaders in building and managing key client relationships (both corporate and individual).
  • Attend high-value client meetings and support closing strategic deals.
  • Ensure timely resolution of escalated customer issues or team challenges.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports for senior management.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Track KPIs, individual/team performance, and forecast future sales.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of both B2C and B2B sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership experience in managing sales teams is a plus.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and energetic attitude.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree/MBA
  • 3–5 years of proven sales experience in EdTech, SaaS, or service-based industries
  • Strong communication and Convincing skills
  • CRM experience is preferred
