Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) who will play a key role in the pre-sales and client engagement process. The role involves reaching out to qualified leads generated through our marketing campaigns, conducting high-quality initial conversations, understanding client needs and scheduling meetings with the Director.

This role requires someone who enjoys client interactions (online & offline), manages follow-ups with discipline, supports sales meetings and also contributes to the growth of our public programs by driving audience participation.

You will be the first professional touchpoint between prospective clients and our consulting team, making maturity, clarity, intent and relationship-building extremely important.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Engagement & Pre-Sales Conversations

  • Connect with qualified leads generated by our marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct requirement-understanding calls to assess client needs.
  • Build rapport and represent the organization professionally.
  • Convert initial conversations into scheduled Discovery Meetings with the Director.

2. Meeting Coordination & Client Interaction

  • Schedule meetings and ensure proper pre-meeting communication
  • Share relevant documents such as case studies, company profiles, or program details.
  • Accompany the Director for offline client visits when required.
  • Capture discussions accurately by preparing Minutes of Meeting (MoM).

3. Follow-Up & Relationship Nurturing

  • Maintain structured follow-ups based on the Liberation Coaches sales process.
  • Share reminders, content, updates and clarifications to keep prospects engaged.

4. Public Programs & Event Outreach

  • Promote our leadership/public workshops and invite participants from the past client database, existing leads and approaching new prospects.
  • Drive audience acquisition using structured communication and follow-up.

5. CRM & Reporting

  • Update CRM with call outcomes, meeting status, follow-up actions and progress.
  • Track conversations, meeting pipelines and engagement quality.
  • Share weekly reports aligned with performance KRAs & KPIs.

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • 13 years in Industrial Sales, Capital Goods Selling or concept selling (preferably B2B environment).

Skills

  • Excellent spoken and written communication.
  • Confident in handling senior professionals and business owners.
  • Strong relationship-building and need-analysis ability.
  • Highly disciplined with follow-ups, documentation and process adherence.
  • Comfortable with WhatsApp Business, Email outreach, LinkedIn messaging and CRM tools.

Attitude

  • Mature, well-groomed and professional.
  • Self-driven with a sense of ownership and responsibility.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Open to learning and improving communication & consultative selling skills.
