A Business Development Manager (BDM) at YNM Pan Global Trade Pvt Ltd plays a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and enhancing revenue streams. Below is a general outline of the roles and responsibilities for this position:

1. Client Acquisition & Sales

  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities in retail, corporate, or SME banking.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calls, and referrals.
  • Promote banking products such as loans, credit cards, savings accounts, and investment solutions.

2. Relationship Management

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Provide personalized financial solutions to customers.
  • Ensure client retention through high-quality service and engagement.

3. Market Research & Strategy Development

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Develop strategies to expand the bank’s customer base and increase revenue.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

4. Financial Advisory & Product Promotion

  • Educate clients on banking products, including savings, loans, and investment services.
  • Work closely with product teams to customize offerings based on client requirements.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with banking regulations.

5. Business Growth & Target Achievement

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the bank.
  • Develop action plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, risk, compliance) for seamless service delivery.

6. Risk Management & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to banking policies, RBI guidelines, and financial regulations.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential clients to minimize credit risks.
  • Maintain records and reports for audit and compliance purposes.

7. Team Coordination & Training

  • Work with sales teams and branch managers to optimize business opportunities.
  • Train junior staff and sales executives on banking products and sales techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Banking (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 3-7 years in business development, banking sales, or financial services.
  • Skills:
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management.
  • Market research and analytical ability.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance.
