Job Description

Job Title:

Business Development Manager – Government & PSU Sector (IT Infrastructure)

Location:

Nirman Vihar, New Delhi / Lucknow

Experience:

6–10 years in IT Infrastructure / Enterprise Solutions Sales, with strong exposure to Government & PSU clients

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the

    Government and PSU sector

    for IT infrastructure solutions (servers, data centers, storage, AI hardware, networking, cybersecurity, etc.).
  • Drive end-to-end

    sales cycle management

    – from lead generation, tender/RFP participation, solution presentation, bid management, negotiation, and closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with

    Government departments, PSUs, system integrators, and key stakeholders

    .
  • Collaborate with

    pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams

    to design and position solutions aligned to client requirements.
  • Track and respond to

    GeM portal tenders, NICSI, and other e-procurement platforms

    .
  • Achieve assigned

    sales targets, revenue, and profitability goals

    in the assigned region.
  • Maintain an updated

    pipeline and forecasting report

    for management review.
  • Stay updated on

    GovTech policies, IT infrastructure initiatives, and procurement processes

    .

Key Requirements:

  • Graduate in

    Engineering / IT / Computer Science

    ; MBA preferred.
  • 3–8 years of experience in

    IT Infra Sales / B2G Sales

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    servers, storage, data centers, networking, AI hardware, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions

    .
  • Proven experience in

    Government & PSU sector sales, RFP management, and empanelment processes

    .
  • Excellent

    relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills

    .
  • Ability to work independently and drive results under strict deadlines.

  • Sales revenue achievement in Govt. & PSU vertical.
  • New account acquisition & account mining.
  • Successful participation and closure of

    Govt. tenders / RFPs

  • Relationship building with
