Business Development Manager – Government & PSU Sector

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the

  Government and PSU sector

  for cybersecurity, AI, cloud, server, and storage solutions.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government departments, system integrators, and PSU decision-makers.
• Manage the entire sales cycle — lead generation, proposal submission, technical coordination, negotiations, and closure.
• Work closely with OEMs and internal technical teams to create tailored solutions based on customer requirements.
• Track government tenders, RFPs, GEM listings, and ensure timely submission of bids.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and prepare regular sales forecasts and reports.
• Ensure compliance with government procurement norms and commercial terms.
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–12 years of experience in selling

  IT solutions

  such as cybersecurity products, AI/analytics platforms, cloud services, servers, and storage systems.
• Strong understanding of

  government procurement processes

  , e-tendering, GEM, and bid management.
• Existing connections with departments, PSUs, system integrators, and IT heads in the public sector.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and OEMs.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / IT / Computer Science or any relevant field.
• MBA (preferred but not mandatory).
