Business Development Manager - Events

As a Business Development Manager for our event business across key cities in India, your role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the B2B events sector. You will actively pitch our services to potential clients through various channels and generate leads from corporates, agencies, and strategic partners. Collaboration with internal teams to prepare tailored proposals, tracking market trends, and maintaining a strong sales pipeline are crucial responsibilities. Additionally, representing our Company at industry events and maintaining CRM records are essential to ensure revenue growth in your assigned region. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the B2B events sector. - Actively pitch services to potential clients through meetings, calls, and presentations. - Generate and nurture leads from corporates, agencies, and strategic partners. - Collaborate with internal teams to prepare tailored proposals. - Track market trends and competitor activity for strategic positioning. - Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide regular revenue forecasts. - Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales and revenue targets. - Represent the Company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings. - Maintain CRM records, follow-ups, and timely reporting to senior management. Qualifications & Skills: - Graduate/Postgraduate in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or related field. - 3-6 years of experience in event sales, corporate sales, or experiential marketing. - Strong network and existing client base in your respective region preferred. - Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. - Self-starter with a target-driven mindset and ability to work independently. - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region for client meetings and events.
