Job Summary:

Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients for corporate events, exhibitions, activations, and experiential marketing projects.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, production, and operations) to deliver customized event proposals and pitches.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitor activities.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including proposal creation, negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Represent the company at industry networking events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales executives (if applicable).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of proven sales experience in the events / media / advertising / hospitality industry.
  • Strong network of corporate clients and decision-makers in Bangalore.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Target-driven with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Knowledge of event industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
