Event Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and detail oriented Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of corporate, social, and MICE events in Chennai . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a well-developed vendor network, exceptional client servicing skills, and the ability to manage complex timelines and operations under pressure. Key Responsibilities: Take full ownership of event planning, execution, and closure. Manage logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site operations. Collaborate with clients to understand event objectives, budgets, and expectations. Work with creative and production teams to design event layouts and concepts. Develop timelines, task sheets, and contingency plans. Conduct venue inspections, team briefings, rehearsals, and post-event evaluations. Monitor budgets and ensure cost control. Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business. Qualifications : Graduate/Postgraduate in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field. 4 - 7 years of hands-on experience in event management or production. Strong network of vendors and freelancers in Chennai. Excellent communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills. Willingness to travel and work on weekends/evenings as required.
