Manager – Event Operations (Logistics)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive event logistics plans in collaboration with internal teams, including preparing RFPs and managing vendor proposals.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and secure vendors/suppliers while ensuring timely delivery of all services.
• Coordinate with AV, catering, travel, registration, and other event teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
• Oversee on-site setup and event execution; proactively resolve operational challenges to ensure a smooth attendee experience.
• Maintain quality standards across all event elements including branding, signage, guest management, and technical arrangements.
• Manage event budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Identify potential risks and create contingency plans for smooth operations.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, address concerns, and ensure alignment throughout the event lifecycle.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in handling conferences, summits, networking receptions, dinners, and large-scale corporate events.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight timelines.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management and cost optimization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage internal teams and external stakeholders effectively.
• Strong vendor and supplier management skills with a track record of building solid relationships.
• Ability to adapt quickly, think on your feet, and make informed decisions in dynamic environments.
