Experience & Background: Minimum 2 years of experience in MICE, tourism, or hospitality industry, preferably in a contracting or sales support role. Proven understanding of MICE operations , including event planning, hotel and venue contracting, and supplier negotiations. Familiarity with DMCs , travel agencies, or corporate event planning companies. Key Responsibilities: Assist with contracting hotels, venues, and service providers for MICE programs. Support the sales team with quotation preparation, proposal development , and client communication . Maintain and update the supplier database , including rates, terms, and availability. Coordinate logistics such as transportation, F&B arrangements, and technical requirements. Handle inquiries , prepare costings , and liaise with operations for seamless program delivery. Skills & Competencies: Strong negotiation skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) ; knowledge of CRM or MICE software is a plus. Ability to multi-task, prioritize , and work under tight deadlines. Fluency in English ; other languages are an advantage. Preferred Qualifications: Degree/diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or related field . Knowledge of regional/international MICE destinations and suppliers .
