About the Role

We are looking for a

Business Development Manager

to drive business growth by developing and executing strategies to promote our financial operations, people operations, and risk services.

The ideal candidate will have strong connections in the entrepreneurial and tech ecosystem, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, and close deals.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong business and customer relationships.
Network with entrepreneurs, founders, and startups at events and co-working spaces.
Develop partnerships with key service providers to generate referrals.
Conduct client needs analysis and propose tailored solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the US and India.
Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients.
Manage and update the sales pipeline regularly.
Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and timelines.

Must-Haves

5+ years of experience as an BDM or Sales Representative.
Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts (payroll, tax, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with a professional phone and email presence.
Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize tasks effectively.
Strong relationship management skills able to build trust, understand client needs, and act accordingly.
Comfortable working in a hybrid/remote environment with occasional client visits and events.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with BRM and CRM tools.
