Concord operates a state-of-the-art US FDA and EUGMP-approved facility and is internationally recognized as a leading supplier of fermentation-based APIs and enzymes. The company also offers services in strain improvement and contract fermentation/manufacturing. With a strong R&D team, Concord is continuously expanding its portfolio, which currently includes products across segments such as immunosuppressants, antibiotics, oncology, anti-obesity, hypolipemic, and enzymes.


Responsibilities

Licensing & partnership

- Source and evaluate ANDA assets from India, Asia, and Europe, ensuring they meet USFDA standards

- Proactively identify adjacent business opportunities (such as 505(b)(2) pathways or complex generics) and work on innovative deal structures that drive our competitive advantage.

- Lead due diligence processes involving regulatory affairs, IP, data reviews, and commercial viability studies. Utilize financial models to assess ROI and risk/reward profiles.

- Structure, negotiate, and execute in-license deals, including preparing term sheets and drafting agreements in collaboration with legal dept.

- Conduct in-depth competitive landscape analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities that add to our portfolio.

- Build strategic alliances with CDMO players, mid-sized co’s needing front end, , to leading API suppliers—to secure innovative pathways to market.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Collaborate with RA, R&D, QA and supply chain teams to ensure that in-licensed products are integrated into our development / or Mfg pipeline.

- Engage with US sales team to develop launch strategy that address the complexities of transitioning ANDA assets to market.

- Represent the company at industry forums and conferences

Qualifications

- Education: MBA from a reputed institution; Pharmacy/Sciences Undergraduate

Experience:

- 7-10 years in business development within the pharmaceutical industry, with deep exposure to generics and ANDA licensing.

- Significant experience in handling cross-border deals and managing in-license opportunities across diverse regulatory environments.

Expertise:

- Knowledge of US regulations, patent framework, and global generics market dynamics.

- Strong financial modeling, negotiation, and analytical skills.

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale, complex projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
