Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Identify and target new clients in need of warehousing, distribution, and logistics services. Utilize various methods such as cold calling, networking, industry events, and digital marketing to generate leads. Market Research: Analyse the logistics and warehousing market trends, competitor Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans for acquiring new business in the warehousing and logistics sector. Tailor offerings to meet the unique needs of each client. Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Prepare and present proposals, RFPs (Requests for Proposal), and contracts. Negotiate terms and pricing to close sales while ensuring profitability and competitiveness. Collaboration with Operations Team: Work closely with the internal logistics, warehousing, and supply chain teams to ensure solutions are aligned with client needs and operational capabilities. Business Growth & Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing clients while constantly seeking new prospects. Industry Networking: Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to stay informed of market trends and establish relationships with potential clients and partners. Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on sales performance, client acquisition, and market trends to senior management, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
