Business Development Manager (BDM)

Job SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for our food business. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, increasing B2B and B2C sales, and strengthening brand presence across dine-in, delivery, catering, and corporate segments. Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business through corporate tie-ups, bulk orders, catering, events, and subscriptions Identify and onboard B2B clients such as offices, housing societies, PGs, hostels, and institutions Plan and execute local store marketing (LSM) and sales campaigns Build and manage strong client and partner relationships Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms Coordinate with operations and kitchen teams to ensure smooth order execution Increase average order value (AOV) through upselling and cross-selling Track leads, follow-ups, closures, and performance using CRM/Excel Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer preferences Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets Support expansion initiatives such as new outlets, cloud kitchens, or franchise sales (if applicable) Handle customer feedback and ensure repeat business Key Skills & CompetenciesBusiness development & sales B2B & corporate sales Negotiation & deal closure Market research & analysis Relationship management Revenue planning CRM & reporting Communication & presentation skills Problem-solving & execution focus Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monthly revenue growth Number of active B2B accounts Deal closure ratio Average order value Repeat business percentage Preferred Candidate ProfileExperience in restaurant, cloud kitchen, catering, or food-tech industry Strong local market network Willingness to work in the field and meet clients Proficiency in Hindi & English Self-driven with a target-oriented mindset CompensationFixed salary + performance-based incentives Growth opportunity with a fast-scaling food brand
