Job Description

Role: Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving strategic sales growth and expanding the company’s presence in the elevator solutions sector within the assigned territory. This role demands strong client engagement skills, sound technical understanding for site feasibility, and a proactive approach to market development. The incumbent will represent the organization in all client-facing interactions, deliver customized vertical mobility solutions, and contribute to sustainable revenue growth through a consultative and value-driven sales approach.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Management & Client Engagement

  • Contact and follow up on inbound and outbound leads to understand client requirements for elevator solutions.
  • Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with prospective clients to present solutions in detail.

2. Site Feasibility Assessment & Product Consultation

  • Visit client sites to assess the feasibility of elevator installation based on structural conditions and technical parameters.
  • Recommend appropriate elevator models and clearly explain specifications, features, benefits, and value propositions.

3. Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Generate new leads by identifying under-construction and upcoming projects.
  • Build and maintain strong networks with builders, architects, consultants, and contractors.
  • Explore untapped markets within the assigned region to develop a robust and sustainable sales pipeline.

4. Sales Target Achievement

  • Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets through disciplined follow-ups and timely deal closures.
  • Maintain healthy conversion ratios by addressing client objections and presenting customized proposals.

5. Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and nurture long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business, referrals, and high customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through product selection, pricing discussions, and post-sale support queries.

6. Internal Coordination & Execution Support

  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, and finance) to ensure accurate proposals and smooth project execution.
  • Follow up on quotations, documentation, approvals, and internal processes to meet project timelines.

7. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, site visits, meetings, proposals, and order statuses using CRM or internal systems.
  • Provide regular reports to reporting managers on sales performance, pipeline status, challenges, and market insights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
