Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding the dealership’s customer base, and enhancing overall business performance. This role focuses on identifying new market opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, improving lead generation, and ensuring smooth coordination between sales, service, and marketing functions within the dealership.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Growth & Market Expansion

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase retail and corporate sales of two-wheelers.
  • Identify new customer segments, fleet buyers, corporates, and institutional clients.
  • Monitor local market trends, competitor pricing, and promotional activities.

2. Lead Generation & Conversion

  • Drive lead-generation activities through local events, digital campaigns, test-ride camps, and tie-ups.
  • Track and improve lead conversion rates through consistent follow-ups.
  • Ensure efficient CRM usage for lead tracking and customer communication.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with customers to drive repeat sales and referrals.
  • Handle escalated customer queries and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Support post-sale follow-up for insurance renewal, accessories, and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).

4. Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Plan and execute showroom-level marketing activities, roadshows, and promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for brand guidelines, sales programs, and offers.
  • Ensure consistent branding across showroom, digital platforms, and events.

5. Business Operations Support

  • Work with sales, service, finance, and insurance teams to improve overall dealership performance.
  • Track daily sales performance and prepare weekly/monthly business reports.
  • Optimize processes for faster deliveries, documentation, and customer handling.

6. Team Coordination

  • Support training and development of the sales team on products, features, and sales techniques.
  • Motivate the sales team to achieve monthly targets.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to improve productivity and customer engagement.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–6 years of experience in automobile sales or dealership business development (preferred).

Skills

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of two-wheeler products and dealership operations.
  • Excellent communication and people-handling skills.
  • Ability to work with CRM systems and MS Office.
  • Strong local market knowledge.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hathras, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Business development: 2 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
