Business Development Manager

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for admissions growth, lead generation, outreach activities, and strengthening the market presence of Poddar Business School. The role requires strong communication, sales planning, and relationship-building skills to achieve PGDM and MBA enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities :-Admissions & Sales

  • Generate and convert leads for PGDM and MBA programs.
  • Manage the admissions funnel from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Conduct student and parent counseling sessions.
  • Achieve monthly and annual admission targets.
  • Track leads using CRM or MIS tools.

Outreach & Business Development

  • Build partnerships with colleges, coaching institutes, and career counselors.
  • Organize seminars, presentations, and MBA awareness sessions.
  • Identify new markets and expansion opportunities.
  • Visit schools, colleges, and partner institutions for outreach.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Coordinate with the marketing team for ATL/BTL campaigns.
  • Participate in education fairs, events, and career guidance programs.
  • Support digital campaigns with market insights and competitor analysis.
  • Contribute to brand visibility activities across Jaipur and nearby regions.

Corporate & Industry Interaction

  • Support corporate relations for internships, live projects, and placements.
  • Maintain relationships with industry partners and corporate stakeholders.
  • Facilitate guest lectures and corporate engagement activities.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly admissions reports.
  • Provide data on market trends and competitor activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation and CRM management.
  • Coordinate with academic, marketing, and admin teams for smooth functioning.

Required Skills

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in admissions, business development, or education sales.
  • Experience in higher education institutions is an added advantage.
