Job Title: Business Development Manager – College & Club Partnerships (Talent Engagement Events) Location: Hyderabad (On-field role with frequent travel to colleges and institutes) About reelOn: ReelOn is India’s leading media-tech platform bridging aspiring talent and verified opportunities in the entertainment industry. We’re on a mission to discover, support, and launch new talent through casting jobs, talent hunts, and campus-based events. Role Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to identify, connect, and partner with colleges, cultural clubs, and film/media institutes to organize on-ground events, talent showcases, workshops, and Open Mic sessions. This role is crucial in engaging fresh talent and building strong academic partnerships that help reelOn onboard new users. Key Responsibilities: Outreach & Partnerships Identify colleges, universities, cultural societies, and talent clubs across regions. Initiate and close partnerships with institutions for student engagement events and talent onboarding. Develop and maintain relationships with college deans, faculty heads, and club coordinators. Event Planning & Execution Plan and coordinate on-ground events like Open Mics, Talent Hunts, Workshops, and Awareness Drives. Work with the marketing and creative teams for promotional material and campaigns. Ensure high participation and visibility of events at target campuses. Talent Engagement & Onboarding Engage with students during events and workshops to educate them about reelOn. Facilitate the onboarding of talented individuals onto the platform. Drive student registrations and active participation in ongoing casting/job opportunities. Reporting & Strategy Maintain weekly reports on outreach, partnerships, events conducted, and student conversions. Provide feedback to improve campus engagement strategies and event formats. Suggest scalable models for multi-city expansion and seasonal event campaigns. Who You Are: A self-starter with excellent communication and networking skills. Passionate about the entertainment industry and youth engagement. Hands-on experience with event coordination, outreach, or academic collaborations. Comfortable with field work, college visits, and public speaking. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Media, or related fields. 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, Event Management, or Campus Outreach. Preferred: Prior experience in media-tech, talent management, or student programs.
