Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Identify and target potential clients across various industries (e.g., manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, automotive, electronics) who can benefit from FTWZ and customs-bonded warehousing.
  • Conduct in-depth meetings with executives, supply chain managers, logistics heads, and other key decision-makers to understand their business needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on warehousing and logistics strategies.
  • Actively network within the industry to generate leads and cultivate a robust pipeline.
  • Product Expertise & Explanation:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of FTWZ regulations, benefits, and operational procedures.
  • Thoroughly explain the intricacies of customs-bonded warehousing, including customs clearance processes, bond requirements, and compliance.
  • Articulate the value proposition of both FTWZ and customs-bonded warehousing, demonstrating how these solutions can lead to cost savings, improved efficiency, and reduced lead times for clients.
  • Address client queries and concerns related to customs, duties, compliance, and operational aspects of FTWZ and bonded warehousing.
  • Sales & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, legal, finance) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and changes in customs regulations to identify new business opportunities.
  • Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify new segments and opportunities for FTWZ and customs-bonded warehousing services.
  • Analyze client requirements and provide feedback to internal teams for service improvement and development.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding industry, with a strong focus on FTWZ or customs-bonded warehousing.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian Customs regulations, EXIM policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients.
