About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team and drive the growth of our Flavours & Colours portfolio.


Your mission is to build strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients across India, understand their technical and commercial needs, and act as the key liaison between their R&D teams, our labs, and our international principals.


What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

  • New Business Development: Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities to expand our market share in the F&B sector.
  • Key Account Management: Manage and deepen relationships with our existing large-scale accounts, ensuring high-level service and promoting new products.
  • Customer Engagement: Travel frequently across India to meet with customers, understand their evolving requirements, present solutions, and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Technical Coordination: Act as the technical bridge for clients. Liaise with our in-house lab, our principals' technical teams, and the customer's R&D department to coordinate samples, testing, and support.
  • Principal Management: Manage relationships with our international principals, including coordinating joint customer visits, attending product training, and acting as their representative in the market.
  • Sales & Pipeline Management: Maintain a detailed sales pipeline report, manage forecasts, and generate all required sales and visit reports.
  • Financial Acumen: Focus on high-value accounts while working closely with the finance team to ensure credit control and financial safety.


What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

Must-Haves:


  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development.
  • Industry Experience: Direct experience selling Flavours, Colours, or related technical food ingredients is essential.
  • Digital Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software and the Google Ecosystem (Mail, Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Travel: Must be willing and able to travel frequently on an all-India basis.


Nice-to-Haves:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • An existing network of contacts within the F&B manufacturing industry.
