Job Description

As a Flavourist (Sales Role) at Devson Impex, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging your technical flavour expertise to drive sales growth and enhance customer engagement. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with clients, sales teams, and R&D to promote and sell flavour solutions tailored to market needs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and nurturing strong relationships with both existing and potential customers. - Identifying new business opportunities and generating sales leads within the food & beverage industry. - Understanding customer requirements and industry trends to effectively promote and sell flavour solutions. - Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals to meet or exceed revenue targets. - Providing technical guidance to customers on flavour applications and formulations. - Conducting product presentations, demonstrations, and sensory evaluations for clients. - Collaborating with R&D teams to develop customized flavour solutions for customers. - Assisting customers in troubleshooting formulation challenges and optimizing product performance. - Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities. - Providing feedback to R&D and marketing teams regarding customer preferences and market demands. - Participating in trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to enhance market presence. To be successful in this role, you should possess: - A Bachelors/Masters degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Business, or a related field. - 3-7 years of experience in sales within the flavour, food ingredients, or food & beverage industry. - Strong experience in B2B sales, account management, and customer relationship building. - Basic understanding of flavour chemistry, applications, and sensory evaluation. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interactions. - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence purchasing decisions. - A target-driven and proactive approach to achieving sales objectives.,
