Flavorist

You will be joining Devson Impex as a Flavourist (Sales Role) where your primary focus will be on utilizing your technical flavour expertise to drive sales growth and enhance customer engagement. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and potential customers, identifying new business opportunities within the food & beverage industry, and promoting and selling flavour solutions tailored to customer requirements and industry trends. In this role, you will also provide technical guidance to customers regarding flavour applications and formulations, conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and sensory evaluations, and collaborate with R&D teams to create customized flavour solutions. Moreover, you will be expected to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities, and provide feedback to R&D and marketing teams based on customer preferences and demands. Participation in trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to enhance market presence will also be a part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelors/Masters degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Business, or a related field, along with 3-7 years of sales experience in the flavour, food ingredients, or food & beverage industry. Strong B2B sales, account management, and customer relationship building skills are essential, as well as a basic understanding of flavour chemistry, applications, and sensory evaluation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with negotiation and persuasion abilities, are required to effectively interact with clients and close deals. Your proactive and target-driven approach towards achieving sales objectives will be crucial for success in this role.,
