Position Overview: The Upwork Business Development Executive will be responsible for handling the Upwork platform, bidding on projects, communicating with potential clients, and ensuring successful deal closures. This role requires strong sales skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of software project acquisition. Roles & Responsibilities: Manage and optimize the Upwork profile to increase visibility and credibility. Identify and bid on relevant software development projects that align with company expertise. (Digital Transformation services) Write compelling project proposals and customize responses to client needs. Communicate with clients, understand their requirements, and negotiate contracts. Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients. Track bids, follow up on leads, and ensure project conversions. Collaborate with the technical team to provide accurate project estimations. Stay updated on Upwork trends, algorithms, and best practices for securing more projects. Requirements: 2 to 3 years of experience required with IT Sales. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field. Proven experience in handling Upwork and securing projects in software development, web applications, and mobile apps. Strong understanding of IT services, software development processes, and client requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with international clients. Ability to write professional and customized proposals for different projects. Negotiation skills to convert leads into long-term contracts. Preferred Skills: Experience in handling international clients (US, UK, GCC, Europe, etc.). Familiarity with CRM tools for lead tracking and follow-ups.
