Role & responsibilities: The BIM Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows to students, professionals, or corporate clients. The trainer must possess strong expertise in leading BIM platforms like Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, along with a deep understanding of the AEC industry standards and practices. Key Responsibilities: Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and practical training sessions on BIM software such as Revit (Architecture, Structure, MEP), Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other related tools. Curriculum Development: Design, update, and customize training content and materials based on industry standards and student/client needs. Assessment & Feedback: Conduct assessments, assignments, and provide constructive feedback to improve learner outcomes. Technical Support: Assist students or trainees with troubleshooting software-related queries and provide real-world project insights. Industry Alignment: Stay up to date with evolving BIM trends, tools, and practices; ensure training reflects current industry requirements. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, feedback, and progress reports. Client/Student Interaction: Engage with students and corporate clients to understand their objectives and align the training accordingly. Collaboration: Work with internal teams on marketing, course improvement, and technical support as needed. Key Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture/Structure/MEP), Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences. Passion for teaching and mentoring. Certification in Autodesk or other BIM tools (preferred). Industry project experience in AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) domain is a plus.
