Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities through

    cold calling, lead generation, and networking

    .
  • Engage in

    online bidding

    on freelancing platforms such as

    Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and Guru

    to acquire new clients and projects.
  • Develop and maintain a

    strong sales pipeline

    for software development and IT services.
  • Write and present

    business proposals

    ,

    presentations

    , and

    project quotations

    tailored to client requirements.
  • Conduct

    client meetings

    , negotiations, and follow-ups to close deals successfully.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients through continuous engagement and account management.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on

    industry trends

    , competitor activities, and emerging technologies to strategize effectively.
  • Utilize a

    pre-existing network in the IT industry

    to expand the client base and partnerships.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

    in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years

    of experience as a Business Development Executive or similar role in a

    software development / IT services company

    .
  • Proven track record in

    business generation, cold calling, and client acquisition

    .
  • Experience with

    online bidding platforms

    (Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer etc.) is

    highly preferred (Not Mandatory)

  • Strong understanding of

    IT services, web, and app development projects

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and

    client negotiation skills

  • Strong business writing skills for

    proposals, quotations, and client communication

  • Ability to work independently and meet revenue targets.
