Business Development Executive (BDE)

  • Full-Time | Kota, Rajasthan

About the role

We are looking for a passionate, self-driven, and result-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) who can take full ownership of business growth – from lead generation to conversions, partnerships and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Outreach

    : Generate leads through research, referrals, and social media. Engage with parents and students to understand their needs and pitch Tutrain services. Keep the lead database updated for effective follow-ups and new opportunities.
  • Sales & Conversion

    : Conduct demos and consultations to convert leads into paying clients. Follow up regularly and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Identifying and Pursuing New Business Opportunities

    : Research new markets and customer segments. Develop focused strategies to reach and convert them.
  • Developing and Implementing Sales Strategies

    : Plan and execute sales initiatives to acquire clients and grow market share. Use data and competitor insights to guide decisions. A strong understanding of sales processes, marketing strategies and market analysis is essential.
  • Client Relationship & Retention

    : Ensure smooth onboarding and address client concerns promptly. Build strong relationships to encourage repeat business and upselling.
  • Strategic Business Development

    : Identify partnerships with schools and local groups. Support marketing campaigns and share feedback to improve services.
  • Reporting & Analysis

    : Create weekly sales reports and track lead performance. Analyze trends and competition to shape business strategy.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven experience in EdTech or similar service-based business development roles (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English + Hindi/regional language).
  • Self-starter attitude with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, sales tracking, and reporting.
