Job Title: Business Development Engineer
Location - Bangalore

Job Purpose:
To identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and drive sales growth through
technical expertise and market analysis. The Business Development Engineer will act as a key link
between the technical team and customers to ensure solutions meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in target industries (e.g.,
manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, etc.).
  • Generate leads through market research, customer visits, networking, and digital
outreach.
  • Develop strong relationships with prospective and existing clients by understanding
their technical and commercial needs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the technical and proposal teams to prepare customized solutions.
  • Track tenders, RFPs, and inquiries; prepare techno-commercial offers and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close business deals while ensuring profitability and customer
satisfaction.
  • Maintain records of client communications, progress updates, and project pipelines.
  • Provide inputs for marketing strategies and competitor analysis.
  • Ensure post-sales support and maintain long-term business relationships with
clients.

Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of technical products and industrial solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze client requirements and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting systems.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Qualifications:
  • B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
Experience:
  • 2 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or industrial
marketing.
  • Exposure to sectors like manufacturing, EPC, energy, process industries, etc., is
preferred.
