Business Development Engineer

As a Business Development Engineer, your role will involve identifying and onboarding new clients within the industrial automation domain, with a focus on sectors like manufacturing, automotive, and process industries. You will be responsible for promoting and demonstrating the company's product portfolio, which includes fieldbus modules, IO systems, power supplies, and interface technologies. Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, conducting market analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential business opportunities will be crucial. You will also need to maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, providing technical support and collaborating with the technical team. Regular reporting on sales, forecasts, and client feedback to the management team will be expected. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the industrial automation sector. You should have a strong knowledge of industrial automation products and technologies, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in MS Office. A willingness to travel within the region as required is essential for this full-time position with a day shift schedule.
