About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Associate – Business Development & Credit Operations. The role will be responsible for sourcing borrowers through DSAs, facilitating internal due diligence and risk assessments, managing the credit approval process, and ensuring smooth execution of agreements post-approval.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior experience in financial institutions who are looking to strengthen their exposure across both business development and credit operations.


Key Responsibilities

· Develop and manage relationships with Direct Selling Agents (DSAs) to generate qualified borrower leads.

· Coordinate borrower proposals through internal due diligence, risk assessment, and credit approval processes.

· Liaise with risk, credit, and compliance teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of applications.

· Manage communication with DSAs and borrowers regarding status updates, approvals, and rejections.

· Oversee documentation and execution of agreements post-approval, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

· Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and turnaround times.


Qualifications and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).

· 2–4 years of relevant experience in an NBFC, bank, or other financial institution.

· Strong understanding of credit processes, due diligence, and loan documentation.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency in MS Office; experience with loan management systems will be an advantage.
