  • Proven track record of 3-8 years in B2B sales, preferably in the Learning and Development or training industry.
  • Strong understanding of Learning and Development concepts and the ability to communicate the value of training programs to clients.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven mindset.

Job Overview:

• Autonomously consult and provide customized learning pathways.

• Comprehend client needs, interpret competency development requirements, and customize training solutions from an extensive product suite.

• Master the comprehensive product and services suite to optimize solution development.

• Establish and expand your own client portfolio, encompassing both new account acquisition and sales growth through customer retention.

• Cultivate enduring, mutually advantageous relationships with clients through effective key account management.

• Demonstrate the ability to structure substantial deals and successfully negotiate with senior leaders within organizations, including CXOs, CHROs, L&D heads, L&D managers, and business heads. Ensure alignment with client objectives and showcase the impact of our training solutions.

• Remain current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and our training programs to articulate unique value propositions effectively.

• This role entails predominantly independent field sales responsibilities, catering to a sales executive with a high level of business acumen


Responsibilities:


  • Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for Learning and Development training programs to clients (MNC’s ,Corporate, Government, NGOs / CSR, Philanthropic Organizations)

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing client relationships.

  • Propose diagnostics and other assessments of clients need to determine the root causes of their inability to achieve desired business outcomes.

  • Drescribe, design, and implement strategic interventions using the full range of product and services portfolios.

  • Coordinate with internal delivery teams to offer clients appropriate tailored solutions.

  • Product Knowledge:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to effectively position and differentiate our training programs.

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our Learning and Development solutions to articulate value propositions to potential clients.

2. Client Engagement:

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and challenges.

  • Present compelling proposals and conduct product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our training programs.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

3.Pipeline Management:

  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closure, including negotiation and contract finalization.

  • Build and manage an active sales funnel with at least 50 accounts at various stages.

  • Post onboarding, demonstrate diligence and expertise to position in-person, online and blended training products, assessments and HR solutions.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.

4.Market Research:

  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.

  • Provide feedback to the product development team to enhance existing offerings and develop new programs.


Requirements & Skills:


  • Proficient in solution selling, concept sales, and training sales with a focus on new client acquisition, account management, cross-selling, and upselling.

  • Demonstrated success in handling and consistently meeting sales quotas.

  • Exhibit a strong functional understanding of the business, with the ability to quickly grasp new business sectors and industry verticals.

  • Possess excellent negotiation skills, establishing relationships, and networking effectively.

  • Must be well-presented with outstanding communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to create compelling propositions and ensure excellent client service.

  • Exceptional computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Comfortable working under pressure and adept at meeting tight deadlines.

  • Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to read, analyze, and interpret data.
