About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive with hands-

on experience in the oil and gas sector, preferably with exposure to pipeline engineering.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, managing

client relationships, supporting proposal development, and contributing to the company’s

growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

 Identify and develop new business opportunities within the oil & amp; gas market, with a

focus on pipeline engineering, EPC, FEED, and related services.

 Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and strategic planning to evaluate

client needs and emerging trends.

 Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients,

contractors, consultants, and industry stakeholders.

 Preparation of bid document, proposals, commercial submissions, and tender follow-

ups.

 Attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to represent the company

and expand business networks.

 Collaborate with engineering, project, and senior management teams to align

business goals and support revenue targets.

 Track tender portals, prequalification requirements, vendor registrations, and client-

specific engagement processes.

 Assist in negotiation and closure of contracts while ensuring compliance with internal

approval processes.


Required Skills & Competencies

 Strong understanding of the oil & gas industry, preferably in pipeline projects,

engineering services, or EPC.

 Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

 Ability to analyse technical documents, proposals, and tender requirements.

 Strong networking skills and ability to build long-term client relationships.

 Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently and in a team.


 Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM tools, tender portals, and

business documentation.


Qualification

 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Civil, or similar preferred)

or Business Administration.

 Additional certifications in sales, bidding, or project management will be an

advantage.


Preferred Attributes

 Experience working with EPC contractors, consultants, or oil & gas clients.

 Knowledge of industry standards (API, ASME, ISO, DNV, OISD, etc.) will be

advantageous.

  •  Exposure to technical proposals, cost estimation, and pre-bid clarification processes.
