Role Overview

Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and convert them into intuitive dashboards and visualizations using

  Metabase

  .
• Write and optimize

  SQL queries

  to extract, transform, and analyze data across multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain key business reports, KPI dashboards, and self-serve analytics in Metabase.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions across product, marketing, operations, and sales.
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve data reliability and availability.
• Collaborate with data engineering or dev teams to ensure data pipelines and schemas support reporting needs.
• Present findings in a clear and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

Core Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience as a Business/Data Analyst or similar role.
• Proven experience building and maintaining dashboards in Metabase.
• Proficiency in SQL and strong understanding of relational databases.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to frame problems and tell stories with data.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with tools like Excel/Sheets, Google Analytics, or product analytics platforms is a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders while thriving in cross-functional teams.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with version control (Git), basic scripting (Python), or other BI tools (Looker, Power BI).
• Understanding of data modeling or working with data warehouses like BigQuery, Redshift, etc.
• Exposure to product analytics and customer funnel metrics.
