Role Summary

The position of Associate Business Analyst requires a professional with over 5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. This full-time role involves conducting process studies, assessments, and design thinking sessions to identify improvement opportunities. The individual will play a crucial role in translating and simplifying business requirements, conducting effective documentation, and ensuring stakeholder buy-in through wireframes and prototypes. Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, along with strong communication skills, is essential. Technical expertise in data visualization tools is an added advantage.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform thorough process studies and assessments, leading design thinking sessions to identify and implement process improvements.
• Conduct requirements elicitation through Joint Application Development (JAD) and Rapid Application Development (RAD) sessions.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear and concise documentation, using wireframes and prototypes to gain stakeholder approval.
• Create and maintain documentation including requirements specifications, UML diagrams, process flows, data models, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Apply knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring effective project management and documentation practices.
• Engage diplomatically with stakeholders, demonstrating excellent people skills and the ability to lead and influence others.
• Stay updated on the latest process and IT advancements, contributing to the automation and modernization of systems.
• Utilize technical skills, including data visualization tools, to enhance analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and understanding of project plans.

Skills & Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience in a Business Analysis role, demonstrating proficiency in business analysis methods and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with web and mobile standards, best practices, and industry trends.
• Experience working with JIRA and similar tools for effective requirement management.
• Proficiency in creating wireframes using specialized tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and presentations.
• Ability to work independently, coupled with strong interpersonal skills for project leadership and influencing team members.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
