Role Overview: As a Business Analyst at our organization, you will play a crucial role in connecting stakeholders with technical teams to ensure that solutions meet business objectives, particularly in the healthcare domain. Your expertise in healthcare workflows, data standards, and regulatory frameworks will be essential for success in this role. You will need to excel in communication, analysis, and documentation, and be comfortable working in an Agile environment with multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary intermediary between clients and our organization, utilizing your healthcare domain knowledge to effectively address their IT needs - Analyze client requirements thoroughly and translate them into comprehensive solutions that adhere to industry standards and best practices - Perform gap analysis and process mapping for existing and future workflows - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and UX designers - Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate proposed solutions based on technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with client objectives - Present in client meetings and articulate the benefits of our healthcare IT solutions while addressing client concerns - Conduct market and competitive analysis to support product roadmap planning - Assist in data analysis and reporting using healthcare data formats such as HL7, FHIR, and EDI - Stay updated on the latest trends in the US healthcare IT landscape and incorporate relevant insights into sales and marketing efforts - Provide valuable insights and guidance to the project team based on your domain expertise to ensure successful delivery of healthcare IT solutions - Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers by understanding their evolving needs Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the US Healthcare Domain - Proficiency in HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare interoperability standards - Familiarity with healthcare operational workflows, EHR systems (e.g., EPIC, ATHENA, CERNER), and standards like HL7 and FHIR - Deep understanding of healthcare systems, processes, and regulatory requirements including HIPAA and HITRUST compliance - Hands-on experience with requirement gathering, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories - Exposure to tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart Good to Have: - Knowledge of value-based care, HEDIS measures, or care coordination workflows - Experience in Pharmacy and Lab systems - Understanding of SMART on FHIR framework - Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or healthcare domain certifications At Mindbowser, we prioritize work-life balance with flexible working hours and a 5-day workweek (Monday-Friday).
