Job Title: Business Analyst – Digital Marketing & IT Services

Work from Ahmedabad office

Time-6:30AM Morning to 3:30PM Afternoon IST

Employment Type: Full-Time


Role Overview:

The Business Analyst will act as the bridge between clients, stakeholders, marketing teams, and IT teams, ensuring that business objectives align with digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in digital marketing & IT projects, and a solid understanding of the Australian business environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Market Analysis

  • Analyze Australian market trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior.
  • Understand client business models and identify opportunities for digital growth & transformation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and data-driven analysis for marketing and IT solutions.

2. Requirement Gathering & Documentation

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from Australian clients and internal teams.
  • Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and User Stories.
  • Develop customer journey maps, process workflows, and wireframes for projects.

3. Digital Marketing & IT Solutions Alignment

  • Work closely with SEO, PPC, social media, and content teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with developers and IT teams to define requirements for CRM, automation, eCommerce, and web development.
  • Help in selecting and implementing MarTech tools for automation and analytics.

4. Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting

  • Utilize Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, Power BI, or similar tools for data analysis.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for campaign optimization.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for clients and internal stakeholders.

5. Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Work with Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Maintain clear communication between clients, marketing, development, and design teams.
  • Conduct client presentations, training, and documentation for project sign-offs.

6. Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure compliance with Australian digital regulations, including privacy laws (Australian Privacy Act, GDPR, etc.).
  • Recommend best practices for data security, advertising standards, and content regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

· Experience: Minimum 5+ years as a Business Analyst in Digital Marketing or IT Services

· International Market Experience: Prior experience working with Australian/US/UK clients or businesses

· Digital Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, content marketing, and MarTech

· IT & CRM Solutions: Experience with CRM tools, marketing automation, and web development projects

· Analytical Tools: Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Power BI, HubSpot, SEMrush, or similar tools

· Documentation & Business Tools: Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, and Excel

· Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management

Communication

· Strong verbal and written English skills for client interactions and presentations

· Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with cross-functional teams, developers, and marketing experts
