About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong focus on data analysis and data engineering to join our team at KaarTech. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into technical specifications and ensuring the successful delivery of data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data visualization tools, combined with excellent analytical and communication skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects that influence strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across diverse business functions.

Qualifications

Educational background with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is essential. The candidate should possess a minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, particularly with a focus on data analysis and data engineering. Strong technical skills are required, including proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and experience with data warehousing solutions are highly desirable. Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities are necessary to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights. Effective verbal and written communication skills are crucial for engaging with stakeholders and conveying technical information clearly. Prior experience in managing projects within cross-functional teams, along with familiarity with Agile methodologies, will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze business processes and data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Create detailed reports and dashboards to support decision-making.

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Translate these requirements into technical specifications for the data engineering team.

Data Engineering Concept: Have an understanding of data engineering concepts, including the principles of designing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.

Project Management: Manage and track project progress, ensuring timely delivery of solutions. Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams. Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather feedback and ensure alignment.

Required Skills

Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL and Python.

Understanding of data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Good to Have Skills

Experience with Databricks platform is a plus.

Certifications in Databricks, Azure, or relevant data engineering and analytics certifications are highly desirable.
