About the Role

Business Analyst (Healthcare Domain)

You will collaborate with stakeholders, data teams, and developers to analyze, document, and translate healthcare business requirements into actionable insights and functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and document healthcare domain requirements.
Analyze clinical, operational, and claims data to support reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence initiatives.
Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and data mapping documentation.
Define KPIs, support report development, and ensure data accuracy across systems.
Perform data validation and ensure data integrity across multiple sources.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage change control processes.
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure project alignment.
Identify opportunities for process and workflow improvements within healthcare systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6–8 years of experience as a
Business Analyst
in the
Healthcare or Clinical domain
.
Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, ICD, CPT, EHR, EMR).
Hands-on experience with
SQL
for data querying, profiling, and validation.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar).
Strong understanding of database management and data modeling principles.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with
HIPAA-compliant systems
and clinical data management.
Knowledge of
ETL
or
Data Warehousing
concepts.
Familiarity with
Agile or Scrum
methodologies.
