Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in the Auto/Commercial Auto Insurance domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of SAAS platforms and solid experience within the insurance industry, particularly in Property and Casualty (P&C) . This role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, proposing solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business transformation and system implementation. Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements. Lead requirements elicitation sessions and facilitate product demos. Translate business needs into test conditions and test cases for validation. Conduct quality management reviews of design and requirements artifacts. Collaborate with development and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Support implementation of insurance solutions including policy, claims, billing, and customer/agency portals. Manage and mentor teams through all phases of the project lifecycle. Research and analyze industry practices, emerging technologies, and application trends. Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment of business needs and system capabilities. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Leverage understanding of SAAS platforms and insurance systems to recommend improvements. Work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality results on time. Required Experience: Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related work experience, or a graduate degree and 5 years of experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in Property & Casualty personal, commercial, or specialty lines. Experience managing project lifecycles from requirements to testing. Proven ability to work across business, IT, and QA teams. Insurance domain experience in: Policy Administration Claims Management Customer Billing Agency/Customer Portals Data & Reporting Experience with major insurance platforms (e.g., Origami, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, EIS). Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira. Familiarity with SAFe Agile practices. Preferred Experience: Experience in Agile methodology, running scrum ceremonies, building backlogs, and sprint planning. Knowledge of GCP services , API integrations , CI/CD pipelines . Exposure to AEM or similar UI tools. Industry certifications such as: Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) Associate in Insurance (AINS) Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Associate in Claims (AIC) Associate in Underwriting Skills required: Business Analysis Requirements gathering and documentation Agile/Scrum methodologies Stakeholder communication and presentation Product demos and user acceptance testing Process modeling and workflow analysis Test case design and validation Insurance domain knowledge (Auto/Commercial Auto) Use of tools: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite Show more Show less
