Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for spearheading the brand marketing strategy for a high-priority vertical within the organization at PhonePe. As the Marketing Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and overall business growth. Your role will involve a blend of strategic thinking, creative flair, and analytical prowess, working collaboratively with various teams across Product, Business, Finance, Analytics, Tech, and Marketing to achieve shared goals. Key Responsibilities: - Work with business heads and peers to understand business objectives and translate them into marketing strategies for cross-functional teams. - Influence peers and rally marketing teams to deliver on common strategies and goals. - Develop a compelling brand vision and strategy aligned with overall business objectives, defining brand positioning, messaging, and personality consistently across all touchpoints. - Elevate brand awareness, salience, and affinity through impactful 360-degree campaigns leveraging diverse channels. - Manage campaigns from agency briefs to creative development, media planning, execution, and measurement for optimal results. - Forge strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve shared objectives, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. - Lead brand research and tracking studies to derive actionable insights, monitor and optimize campaign goals and performance metrics for maximum ROI. - Manage and optimize marketing communication and budgets, oversee performance of marketing agencies for exceptional results. - Stay updated with latest tools and trends, test effectiveness for innovation, thrive in a fast-paced environment, deliver exceptional results with a strong bias for action. Qualification Required: Must Have: - 10+ years of brand building and campaign management experience in consumer tech/financial services/internet brands. - 6+ years of team building and management experience. - Fluency in traditional and digital advertising media, social media, content partnerships & sponsorships. - Proven commercial acumen in managing large-scale campaign and media budgets. - Customer-centric approach with a strong brand vision and ability to translate it into actionable strategies. - Deep understanding of research and leveraging insights into creative strategy. Critical Requirement: - Genuine passion for understanding and meeting customer needs. - Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action. Key Skills: Brand strategy, brand management, marketing campaign development and execution, digital marketing, mobile marketing, customer acquisition, customer engagement, market research, data analysis, cross-functional leadership, communication, creativity, problem-solving. Additional Desirable Skills: Experience in relevant industry vertical, brand tracking and measurement tools, knowledge of marketing automation platforms.
