Job Description


We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our retail sales team in Madurai. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of experience in sales, branch management, or a related field. Roles and Responsibility
  • Drive sales and ensure business targets are achieved for the assigned area.
  • Execute the defined strategy to achieve branch performance.
  • Create and maintain a demand funnel to meet sales forecasts by building strong client relationships.
  • Manage growth and profitability by staying competitive and creating/adjusting sales strategies.
  • Expand and retain the company''s customer base for affordable home loans through strong liaisons with clients and channel partners.
  • Build and develop a defined source mix comprising direct and indirect sourcing channels.
  • Utilize business opportunities, builder tie-ups, and plan and monitor joint promotional activities with developers.
  • Facilitate new location development to penetrate new markets and increase business.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of the lending process at various stages from inquiry to disbursement and collection.
  • Manage post-sales customer and channel partner escalations.
  • Coordinate and supervise all key departments internally and strategize the roadmap for lending products.
  • Manage branch operating costs, including acquisition costs, expenses, and operations.
  • Monitor the quality of the book to minimize delinquency and support the appropriate closure of stress accounts by collaborating with the collections team.
  • Optimize and closely monitor team productivity by effectively managing the team of sales managers to assure achievement of business targets and profitability.
  • Collaborate effectively with departments and channel partners.
  • Lead and supervise the SM & RM team through hiring, training, reward, and recognition.
  • Handle overall administrative functions of the branch and ensure active distribution span of control is maintained as per norms.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor intelligence to build effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Establish internal controls for legal compliance and conduct periodic audits to detect non-compliance and frauds.
  • Ensure a strong understanding of markets, competition, processes, and products, providing feedback to the central product and policy team.
  • Ensure compliance with all Audit/NHB regulations and company policies.

  • Graduate degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, branch management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of housing loan sales, mortgage loans, and financial services.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in team management and supervision.
  • Knowledge of industry and governance practices.
  • Ability to establish internal controls for legal compliance and conduct periodic audits to detect non-compliance and frauds.
  • Ensure a strong understanding of markets, competition, processes, and products, providing feedback to the central product and policy team.
  • Ensure compliance with all Audit/NHB regulations and company policies.

  •  Additional Info
    The selected candidate will be responsible for handling overall administrative functions of the branch.
