Job Title: Boiler Operator

Location: Mehsana, Gujarat
Experience Required: 5 to 10 Years (Manufacturing Industry)
Salary Range: ₹5.0 LPA – ₹6.0 LPA
Department: Operations / Maintenance
Reporting To: Plant Head / Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Boiler Operator to manage and operate the boiler systems efficiently and safely at our manufacturing facility in Mehsana, Gujarat. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of boiler operations, maintenance procedures, and safety standards applicable in an industrial manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain steam boilers, thermic fluid heaters, and associated equipment.
• Ensure safe and efficient boiler operation in compliance with statutory and company standards.
• Conduct regular inspection, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of boilers and related systems.
• Maintain boiler water quality and chemical dosing to prevent scaling and corrosion.
• Record and analyze boiler parameters such as pressure, temperature, fuel consumption, and steam generation.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for necessary repairs.
• Ensure compliance with Boiler Act, IBR (Indian Boiler Regulations), and safety norms.
• Maintain proper logbooks, maintenance records, and statutory documentation.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives and contribute to reducing fuel consumption.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of boiler operations, controls, and safety systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems related to boilers.
• Ability to identify faults and carry out basic maintenance and repairs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong adherence to safety and environmental regulations.

Educational Qualification:

• Boiler Attendant Certificate (First Class / Second Class) – Mandatory
• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant field preferred
