Summary : The Boiler Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and safety of boiler systems in the factory. This role involves monitoring boiler performance, ensuring efficient and safe operation, conducting regular maintenance, and complying with safety and environmental regulations.

Job Description :

  • Operate and control boilers to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous steam or heat production.
  • Monitor boiler pressure, temperature, water levels, and other key parameters to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adjust controls and parameters to maintain proper pressure and temperature levels.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on boiler systems, burners, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Identify and address potential issues or malfunctions in boiler operation.
  • Clean and maintain boiler components, including fuel systems, burners, and heat exchangers.
  • Ensure the boiler operates in compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents, fires, and gas leaks.
  • Conduct safety checks before starting the boiler and during operation (e.g., checking pressure relief valves, water levels
  • Maintain accurate records of boiler operation, fuel usage, maintenance activities, and safety inspections.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports to supervisors, documenting performance metrics and maintenance activities.
  • Record and report any deviations from standard operating procedures or safety protocols.
  • Monitor fuel (as per the boiler design.) supply levels and manage water treatment systems to ensure proper boiler function.
  • Ensure water quality is within specifications by performing water testing and maintaining chemical treatment levels
  • Respond to alarms, malfunctions, or emergencies by taking appropriate actions to prevent system failure or accidents.
  • Participate in emergency drills and follow established procedures in case of boiler malfunctions or hazardous conditions.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and other operational staff to ensure continuous and smooth boiler operation.
  • Assist with the installation of new boiler systems or upgrades to existing systems as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹27,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
